It does sound like your daughter has PCOS. Since it is a syndrome you don't have to have all of the symptoms only some. It may be worth mentioning at the docs as there are things they can do for the hair growth.

What is body glide?

Body Glide is widely used in competitive swimming and tri, and usually is not and issue as you can use it most places. (I use it mostly on my neck for west suits swims and underarms when it's a salt water event).

However some folks complain that it can cause irritation on recently shaved areas. If the OP's daughter is using that and shaving, it could be making the irritation worse. I've several friends that don't use it any more.

Not all swimmers use it though, hence the question.

I've never heard of body glide. DD definitely doesn't use it. Does it help improve the speed through the water?

Unfortunately no It helps with skin to skin lubrication (like under the arms).

I thought about that as well, but then figured most of my friends are too knackered from competing to use it for anything else
