Anyone seen Smash recently?
My youngest is a very fussy eater. He has tried Smash previously, but I can't find it in the places I normally get UK food. Has anyone seen Smash, the plain one, anywhere recently?

You know it's made from the sweepings of rotten potatoes not good enough to eat? I've got fussy eaters but I don't know how I could resort to Smash Sorry to be so forthright but I thought my eldest was trying to starve himself to death when he was little.

I agree, I wouldn't feed that crap to my dog. My youngest was awful when she was younger. She soon got to grips with the fact I would not pander to her and if she was hungry she would eat what I made. She still has moments where she moans at the dinner table but I just ignore it now.

Didn't a kid die from the parent's feeding it that stuff a few yr ago due to the amount of sodium it contains.

I don't think it was the Smash that killed them.

Smash is not recommended for children under 12 months and it says so on the label. It does have added sodium, as do a lot of processed foods, and a lot of unprocessed foods contain sodium, come to that. I am aware of the nutritional issues, and I want to use it as a stepping stone to real potato, not to poison my kid.
