"Russian Scientists Fear Supernova Event As Massive Blast Hits Earths Atmosphere, New Comet Makes ‘Strange Turn’ In Orbit As Its ‘Twin’ Targets South Pole Causing Massive African Earthquake"

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index881.htm - I know nothing about astronomy but I know several people here are interested. Just curious on general opinions of this web-page.

Hi Sue
I just looked at the other links to Sorcha's books and quite quickly identified an unbalanced apocalyptic slant, sounds like someone trying to make a few bob from exploiting people's fear. Chuck in a bit of pseudo-science for good measure, funny there is nothing about this cropping up on other websites.
Right, I'd better buy some extra tins from Coles tomorrow, we might need them if the earth stops wobbling completely

LOL!! I never quite know whether to take something like this with a pinch of salt or not. There was an earthquake in Mozambique earlier in the week, I think, and there were lightning strikes on the planes, and there have been snowstorms in the US - so I'm never quite sure where fact ends and fantasy begins. And I know bugger all about astronomy, so....

Think the baked beans will run out in a hurry? This isn't England - there isn't the *siege mentality* here that there is in the UK...

Weird how things crop up together. Sam is in the other room watching something apocolyptic in the other room (channel 7 re whirlwinds so far as I could gather). That is the second thing I have seen this week along the same lines of coincidence. Unless the world is about to end I am just extremely sensitive and noticed the portents before the rest of you
