Awright, call me bored but ...

One dual layer DVD (single sided) is about 8.5Gb
One Audio CD (not MP3) is about 70 minutes.
So thats 1050 minutes or 17.5 hours of uncompressed music on a DVD
But MP3s compress ... assuming a decent quality (squash it by 1/6th) ...
That's about 105 hours of MP3 music on a DVD
At an average of 90kph that's 9450km

Brisbane to Perth (and back) plus some sightseeing.

Yes, I know, incredibly sad

My player in the car plays CD's and MP3's and i can plug my IPod into it, Alan got it for me for xmas last year (much much better pressie than this years but i digress)

It's excellent

Oh it's a Sony something or other!

I have a USB socket thingy on my Sony Something and a 4Gb USB drive full of choice choons ... that means I can only go to Perth one-way ... I just make sure I don't point the car West when I'm angry and in need of a drive
