Anyone good with Fair Trading and a shop refusing to return an item
Ordered some cycling wheels from a shop that was very expensive and they are refusing to return them unless we pay $300. They are the wrong colour and not once did they mention about having to pay $300 to return them and on their website it reads you have 14 days to return an item.

I'm sure that's right and consumer affairs in your state would be able to confirm this. It is probably on their website.

Its a tricky one as nothing was in writing. My husband told them his bike is black and white so the wheels need to be this colour. They are silver and black so the shop are asking for $300 to return them to Shimano. So annoyed right now as its a lot of money to lose.

In that case I'm not sure. Give CA a call, they are usually pretty helpful.
