They were the most impressive fireworks I've ever seen!

Can't believe though, that one of the boats that had the fireworks coming off it, caught fire! Well actually two of them did!

Did anyone else see that?!

There was also a very spectacular thunder storm at the same time. Must have been Mother nature's firework display

What did everyone in other parts of Australia think of their fireworks?

Would be nice to hear what they were like.

We had a great day. Youth Group were performing live, and I nearly cried when they sang 'forever young'

Why is it so hard to take pictures of fireworks without looking like you were drunk at the time!

We went last year but gave it a miss this year and sat on the beach at Sorrento instead and watched the Hillarys ones. They were average at best although the lightening was far more spectacular to watch.

Glad you enjoyed, they are wonderful to watch.

We'll probably go to Mindarie next year, as we will be living lose by this time next year.

The lightning storm was impressive to watch, I agree

The one's in Perth lasted for over 1/2 hour, then kept going on at the other side of the shore (south shore) even though the boats were on fire!

Mind you, the fact that they were on fire was pretty well disguised, as when they were trying to put the fires out, there were fireworks shooting in all directions. Pretty dangerous really though.

Last night I was in a friends huge spa wearing just my undies with a couple of women in bikinis watching the Skyworks fireworks in one direction, the Hillarys ones in another and the lightning out over the sea. Others at the party went to the balcony at the front of the house to watch the Mindarie fireworks.

Just when you think Australia can't get any better.....

Its the first year I believe they have had fireworks up at Mindarie and Hillarys. The ones in town have a bad reputation for trouble and those with young families would rather avoid.
