Anyone done the Burleigh/Tallebudgera National park walk?

Has anyone walked around Burleigh Heads Natioal park? Seen the signs for it but never bothered in the past.

Anyway today we all went for a walk around the Park. We fish on Tallebudgera Creek and have always said we would do the walk one day. It was nice up in the park and the tumgun lookout was awsome. We never spotted any whales out in the water though. Did see lots of Brush turkeys, Parrots and Lizards. It's not a hard walk and worth the effort. Its strange to be up in the Rain Forest yet still bieng able to see the white sand of the beach and torquise waters.

There was one paticular tree that had a strange plant half way up its trunk, does anyone know what it is called?

The Koalas :)

Oh, excellent, thanks for that, it did look completely different from the tree so guessed it was just using the tree as a host. Funny how it got up there though. It is a lovely walk and not a long or difficult one, apart from when the Brush Turkeys come out the bushes expecting a free feed. :)

Is that the upper path bit? I've only sauntered (!) along the bottom bit to get an ice cream from Cold Rock:D. I stopped to take a pic up the hill, with all the boulders up there, only to be told by the girls I'd just passed a sign saying danger, falling boulders, do not stop or slow down:rofl:
