A big hello to everyone who used to live in Derbyshire! Just wondering if any of you are back over the Christmas/New year period, or if any of you know of anyone who has decided to move back to the Midlands.

Nope cant say that i will be or know anyone who will go back to the midlands LOL. Been a lovely day today drove from the sunny coast to byron bay in NSW with mine n bro's family visiting from UK.. spent it on the white sandy beach, in my bikini, si in his mankini, swimming in the pacific ocean, laughing and having fun.... cant say that i will be back..... lol xxx (used to live in Chesterfield though) most other days you can find us in Mooloolaba or Coolum beach having a surf on the Sunshine Coast mum says she'll shoot me if i come back!

We are off to Byron Bay tonight, stu's mums babysitting, so me and stu are on the razz!!!!.....then slepping in the delica stuff paying for tent pitches!! it's beaut isn't it?

Hi, not from Derbyshire, but close as from Keyworth, Nottingham. Haven't really lived there for 15 years, as we were in Asia before moving to the Sunny Coast. We were back there for 3 months, May-July this year as we still have a house there. Nothing much changed, kept bumping into people who said, "Haven't seen you for a while!"!!!
Enjoyed our visit, lovely catching up with friends, and really enjoyed going to a pub or 10!, but prefer our life here.

Hi Sj & Si, Long time no speak, looks like your enjoying it as much as us, NOT missed the cold wet Christmas, got sunburn on the beach Chrissy eve!!
