Any one going to see Stiff Little Fingers in Sydney?
SLF have a gig in Sydney on 9Th May is anybody travelling down from Brisbane(is this practical) to see them,If we get out there in time I'm hoping to make this my first gig in Oz
if not maybes Drop Kick Murphys in Brisbane.whats the Music scene like in Brisbane and are there any decent Record shops or do folk ship in cds from the UK/States ?

Hey hey, I saw them at a Uni way back in the olden days, didn't realise they were still going! they got really pissed off because people in the audience kept spitting at them and chucking beer bottles.

Yeah they're still going 30 years last year! going to see them in Newcastle on Sunday get better every time I see them.They still dont like people chucking stuff at them mind

I've seen SLF a couple of times, top band... First OZ gig for me was, The Cure at the Brissie Ent. Centre in '92

not seen them since i saw them in glasgow about 100 years ago, but they were fantastic to watch.

Well thanks to your plug - I have just been on line and got two tickets
As someone who actually remembers The Pound (used in a line in Alternative Ulster) I am hoping for a fun night.
Thanks ever so for the memories and some old ones to be remembered I hope.
Does anyone know the venue? The Forum - size etc? Just seen on the site The Jam are playing Friday night but as I am flying back from Manila then I cannot make that. Now I am hoping hubby does not get to hear about SLF and we do not get double tickets.
