Anthony Minghella RIP

He suffered a haemorrhage in London days after having surgery for cancer of the tonsils and neck, his US agent Leslee Dart said.

Very sad - loved his film Truly, Madly, Deeply

Whilst no cancer is good, that one is a nasty nasty one. Can't say I'm sad, I didn't know him. Hope his family had a chance to say good bye though.

A very sad thread. I hope his family cope OK as they are a very close knit family very much respected on the Isle of Wight. RIP Anthony. My thoughts are with his family at this hard time.
