Alright my son, get in there!!!
I am proud to announce that Mrs Stampede has just received a PR visa (subclass 100), less than two months after we submitted our application.
We are now free to enter Australia and start our new life Down Under.

I look forward to your arrival and can't wait for you to start telling us how everything is cheaper in the UK, that the clothes here are crap, that there is so much more choice in the UK, yadda yadda yadda.....

Re: Alright my son, get in there!!!
Thanks everyone.
There is more choice in the UK, and most things are cheaper. I've known this for a while; no argument there.
My father was English (as was my mother's father) so I've never really had a strong Australian accent. I used to get hassled at school for sounding like a Pom, so I'm expecting a bit more of that when I get home. Even on our Aussie holiday in 2006, some bloke thought I was English.
No fixed date yet, but it will be late September.
