For all of you with daughters...
I know I have been out of the UK for a few years, and, yes, I admit I am a bit of a grumpy old woman these days 
But is this the kind of wedding in demand in UK these days?... if so, take me out the back and shoot me now. I'm stunned

Where's the common sense in all of this?
The bride in the first story (Mary I think) doesn't seem too bothered about having some kind of education. Her dad doesn't have any worries about the credit crunch...Maybe he will be if his customers didn't want to tarmac their drive aways anymore!
