Alex Ferguson, who do you think you are.
Who the **** does this guy think he is. Just seen him on the news, the twat thought he was off camera but he was not. Talking to an aide about banning a journalist for asking a genuine question about Ryan Giggs. Looking forward to seeing Old Red Noses side get played off the park on sunday morning.
Why was this most unsporting of characters ever awarded a knighthood?

Why do you think he should have to answer every question put to him, even if you consider it a "genuine question"; simply because the man asking is a journalist?
Would you answer questions about a friends personal life just because the man asking was a journalist?
The fact that Ferguson has refused to speak to the BBC for years, after they rubbished his son, speaks volumes about the mans qualities.
As for the Knighthood... oh, I dunno, perhaps being the most successful manager in British football history might have something to do with it?

Ferguson certainly thought that was the case and I'd probably go along with that idea as well.

Ferguson's record is second to none, but he should not have been awarded a knighthood at least until he retired, the man has no class or know the meaning of sportsmanship, Bill Shankly he most certainly is not. (i am not a Liverpool fan btw)

Re: Alex Ferguson, who do you think you are.
It goes to show that he thinks he can pick and choose which rules to abide by and which to not. No matter that FA/premier league said at the start of the 2010/11 season that all MANAGERS (not assistant managers) should talk to all media outlets in post match interviews and that he has consistently flouted that rule in respect to the bbc yet again - what about the genuine sports fans that dont have sky in the uk (yeah i know it is unlikely) that are penalised by him not taking part in the after match interviews.
What he has done (along with the rest of the united team) is nothing short of fantastic over the years - I am actually a Liverpool fan not a United fan - and i respect him for that, however his constent disrepect to other professionals annoys the hell out of me.
