ALDI Cappucino truffles

Could these be the best chocolates in the World?
I bought two boxes for Xmas but we ate them in a series of weak moments
Now they've all sold out. If you shop at an ALDI that stocks 'em please let me know. Seriously. I can't stop thinking about them

I think your closest one is in Horsham at 3,195 K's away... Next Closest is in Swan Hill at 3,205 Ks. So what you doing next week ?

I always thought it was because of logistics and distancet they wouldnt open in WA or SA.... turns out it's because of lack of Sunday trading

Hmmm this is a thread topic....

I think SA is okay for Sunday trading now. Mount Gambier, SA's second biggest "city" at a population of 24,000 now has Sunday hours. Bunnings is certainly open on Sunday. I think the clue might be in the population figures but there is a rumour that Mount Gambier is going to get an Aldi. There is another rumour that Coles and Woolworths might just be against the idea.

Mind you, Hamilton (Vic) has a population of only 11,000 and that has an Aldi.

And yes, some of Aldi's chocs are brill. :)

Hubbie found their version of Jaffa Cakes, we can't keep a box in the house longer than a day as he eats the lot in one sitting, I think they are just disgusting which is probably a good thing...:D

I love jaffa cakes... But I like mine dunked in a glass of vodka... Creates a vodka and orange with a chocolate coating snack.... Tho you have to be careful, just like dunking rich tea biscuits in a cuppa tea, or digestive biscuits in a cuppa coffee its an exact science getting the time spent in the vodka Precisely right...

Aldi Jaffa Cakes are one of things that are better than the originals. IMHO

Interesting how Aldi has some of the nicer food. Weetabix (or whatever it's called there) is the best that's available in Aus too (Credit to Sonlymewalter for that one ).

Aldi keep winning prizes for the best food compared to the big rip off supermarkets:thumbsup:

only difference is there's not a great selection, but Aldi is great:thumbsup:

Aldi does all the basic stuff; bog rolls, washing up liquid (extra good) etc. On a TV thing recently, their steaks came out worst. Hmm...have had some extra good T bones from them.
