Most of the airlines give you extra luggage allowance BUT only if you are validating your visa and alot of them only if you are going one way. You need to speak to each one individually when booking your tickets.
Going by threads on here most people seem to recommend either singapore or emmirates. Depends where you are going, do you want stop overs or direct flights etc

Hi Skye
They offer the £5k for relocation, I would imagine you can spend it what you want for relocation so if you want to pay for business class I can't imagine that would be an issue! Been thinking about it myself

I was led to believe it was $5k..... which is a bit less thant £5k..... and also I dont think they pay it up front....... we should book the same flights seeing as we may be going around the same time :)

OP - sorry for nicking your thread!

Sorry Skye
just checked website it does say $5000, I either misread it the first time round or they changed it. Damn! that's put paid to all my expensive relocation plans :( though I was getting about $15k not $5k
Still think you could still book business class but I have a cunning plan to get for free will email you about it.
Flying together if we can arrange would be great as I'm coming out alone if it's July/August
Fidge I'm also sorry for nicking your thread

I have used most of the airlines..............and think they are all pretty much the same at the end of the day!!!! Some do have the edge on others, but to be truthful, I would just go for the cheapest!!

Yep we've been told we can't have the extra luggage allowance unless we go through the USA since we validated our visa a couple of years ago but we weren't ready to move then.

Not a happy bunny :(
