Air Bridges
The UK is keen to set up "Air Bridges" with countries that have low infection rates like the US.
https://www.itv.com/news/2020-06-03/key-questions-answered-on-air-bridges/
They also expect other countries to set up the same.
Those crazy Greeks however have banned the British. Shocking.
Is this a serious article? Has Britian gone mad? It seems to deem itself as a healthy country. Really?

Re: Air Bridges
Maybe I need to think about this in another way.
They could round out this list nicely with Brazil, then keep the Top COVID Death Countries in their own travel bubble, while kickstarting tourism for all these countries.
Spain is a must add too, lets not forget Ibiza for the summer.

Re: Air Bridges
The US currently has the twelfth highest per capita infection rate in the world (imagine Clarksonesque emphasis here please ), just behind Spain and Chile, and there are no other countries of great consequence in the top nine - in no particular order they comprise Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain, Luxembourg and Singapore, Andorra, the Vatican and San Marino, and Mayotte, which I had to ask Google where that is!

If we look at death rate per capita the UK it is just a fraction away from the bronze medal. They could be well and truly air bridging it up with Spain and Italy. The UK could even hunker down with the herd immunity Swedes who's per capita death rate is slightly less. Given the Swedes have been given a wide berth by it's Scandinavian friends and both the UK and Sweden went for herd immunity, it could be a perfect fit.

Re: Air Bridges
I am not a big fan of infection rate because it all depends on the ability to get tested, and it doesn't count for asymptomatic. The death rate per capita is a better one to go by, except if you are in Russia where they have had a 32% increase issued death certificates but issued barely any of them against Coronavirus.
