Advice please

Hi, I don't normally venture in here but thought you might be able to help.

My daughters best friend (aged 13) is on a school trip touring Australia. Unfortunatley she's been taken seriously ill and is in intensive care at Cairns base Hospital.

Her mother is on her way from the UK and fortunately we understand that she is improving albeit slowly!

My daughter would like to contact her friend and let her know we're thinking of her, maybe send her some flowers or a gift.

Does anyone know of an online company or have any suggestions as to what we could do?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't help you with a company but I am sure someone else will

Re: Advice please

Interflora?
They have an Australian site as well as a UK operation. It looks like you need to send from the UK but I wasn't sure!
Hope this helps...

Wow, how quick you are and what a friendly bunch

We've just heard that she is improving slowly so that's good news. It's been an absolute nightmare 24 hours for all concerned. It's times like these when we suddenly realise that the world isn't getting smaller afterall!

Thanks for your kindness, I'll check them out now

Like someone said above, you can use Interflora, with them you can send flowers to almost anyone, anywhere in the world... :)

If she's in intensive care ward make sure she is allowed flowers and hampers. When my neice was in ICU there was none of that allowed on the ward.

Never thought of that! Think we'll choose a gift then so that, if she can't have it, it will keep for when she moves to regular ward

Thanks Dorothy
