Me too.

Me and Wendy are always organising coffee meets and nights out but we only get the odd few.(me being the odd one).

People are always saying they are lonely and are looking for someone to make friends with. We organise them in the city so it is easy for all to get there from the North or the South. We travel by bus and it takes us roughly 45 mins.

Advertised it on there as well and there don't seem to be much interest. Just people moaning they are lonely. No exuses imop.:)

Hello! You'll need to get on here and talk about Adelaide! The Queenslanders and Perth ?? what do you call someone from Perth? are getting all the attention! I've had a look at Adelaidebrits but it seems so slow moving compared to here. I don't know anyone on there right enough so it's a very quick look.:)

Know what you mean, no excuses needed. Don't get much time other than to quickly scoot through the threads. Got to admit I haven't been to any of the get togethers. Did go to a night out my hairdresser arranged and it was full of us brit expats.
