Re: Adelaide holiday attractions
Sorry - missed this post!
Keith Golf Club is called Keith Golf Club!
Keith Hotel Motel for normal Motel style accommodation. Keith Motel (another one) has just done a lot of renovations and friends stayed at the weekend and were most impressed. With a population of only 1400 there isn't much to do but we like it! Henry and Rose is on the Dukes Highway and does lovely food, nice setting too.
Or you can rent a room on the lake, just next door to the golf course. Very cute - send me a pm if you want the number. Don't think they've got their website going yet but it's called Duck Inn and very lovely. Not pricey really either.

Re: Adelaide holiday attractions
Thanks everyone for the input. We've got route in mind and booked places in Barossa Valley, Keith, Victor Harbor etc & Central Adelaide. Will check out some of the attractions on the way that people have kindly mentioned.

There's no way it's that exciting.
Street party at Elder Park (live music with ~30,000 people) and fireworks off Victoria Bridge.

Re: Adelaide holiday attractions
I'm coming to Adelaide myself on the 11th of February.... well me and another 2,000 Victorians for the MVictory game. It's at Adelaide oval rather than Hindmarsh this time. Can anyone recommend a hotel within walking distance of most things for 4 adults. We would prefer to be close to the City... but on the cricket ground side if thats within walking distance. How much is the Taxi or Transport from the Airport... we've only ever driven over before ?
Should be interesting there were over 30,000 at the game, the last time Adelaide United played at the Adelaide Oval.

You'll also then be close to the bars/casino in the CBD, or just down the road from North Adelaide where there's some really nice restaurants.

Re: Adelaide holiday attractions
Many thanks to you. May have two nights in Adelaide with this trip. Crowne Plaza sounds good... as do the restaurants.
I drove last time around and did the trip there and back in 4 days... worked night shift on the 4th night .. was knackered for a week afterwards. So definitely flying this time.
