It's okay, it's up to you if you put your address on, I just wanted to check. Sometimes people post their email addresses without realising that the whole world can see it

Yes, it's a bit daunting going to a new place, new friends, everything new.

I'm in the same position, luckely i have a few friends in Australia so it wont be too bad

melbourne!! thats what im scared of most is leaving all my friends behind! see i dont know anyone so its gunna be tough but like i said to my mum at the end of the day just picture myself 2-3 years down the line and see what a great life i will have there!!

For me it is a great move, finaly will be able to have an outdoors life and at 23 that's what i miss the most, here in the Uk we all know how it is...

Im going back to uni, managed to secure part-time work (friends company) so yes i am pleased all is working out.

In general terms i will be better off! I am finaly being released into the big world that there is out there

Firstly - Sue's right. Secondly, I reserve my use of MSN for friends and family - however if I wanted to get interupted every two minutes by random strangers (you know, 12 year old kids and the sort of 55 year old men that go looking for them) I'd be sure to publish my address on a public forum.

Didn't mean to offend - I'm just aware that some members of BE are younger than others and that putting your email address 'out there' can have implications.

Vicki I know its not instant, but you can chat perfectly well in the forum as it is. Hutch and Sue are only looking out for your best interests. Its up to you whether or not you take their advice but i agree with them I'd be very careful advertising your msn to all and sundry you never know who is prowling around!

i have personal experience of this
i posted my work email address on a specialist motorcycle forum ( had some bits to sell ) as it was such a specialst site didnt think it would draw attention christ was i wrong
had to delete the bloody account due to be deluged with total Shiite 24/7

have fun with your email junk box it`ll soon be full
