Accomodation in Singapore?

Hi

Anyone know of any decent, reasonably priced accomodation in Singapore? We will be flying to Brisbane in October and want to stay over for 3 days.

It doesn't need to be too flash but I don't want to stay in backpacker hostels.

Thanks in advance

Depending who you are flying with, they might do a special stopover deal, I know Singapore Airlines do.

we booked that through dial a flight 01619531152

Singapore Airlines offer the 'Singapore Stopover' package - which is great value for money. You can choose the hotel you want to stay at from a list that they provide, depending on how much you want to spend. And then you get free entry to loads of Singapore attractions as well as access to the Shuttle bus that takes you to all the attractions.

Well worth a look at. Your travel agent should know more details, alternatively if you booked online then it's all on the website as mentioned previously.

Hi Kevin

We stayed at Raffles the Plaza for 2 nights in a suite with 3 kids and it was about £300. Certainly worth spending a couple of pounds extra for a really nice hotel. When we first went to Singapore we stayed at the Phoenix and were extremely dissappointed with the standard.
Have a look on the websites as we really wanted to stay in the Stamford which is attached to it but left it too late to book the harbour view room!
The hotel was fantastic and had a swimming pool on about the 10th floor, tennis courts and the obligatory shopping mall underneath.
The room we had also overlooked the original Raffles Hotel!

Look at http://singapore-plaza.raffles.com and http://singapore-stamford.swissotel.com

We booked it direct on their website and it worked out cheaper than going through all the different hotel websites. You can also phone them to have a chat as they are very helpful.

Feel free to PM me if you want more specific information!

Try here Kev. We got a room for 2 adults and 2 kids for £60ish/night, they do various deals.
Attached is a pic of the foyer.

Ive stayed at a few in Singapore but the Pan Pacific is very central and the rooms and food were great. It is also very reasonable.

we stayed in the Sentosa resort and Spa 2 weeks ago. Was a singapore stopover deal and cost us $122(AUD) pppn - worth it if you want to be out of the city.

there's two hotels on sentosa island - the Sentosa Resort and the Rasa Sentosa.

singapore stop over deals are great as there's loads of discounts and money off vouchers.

The Pan Pacific is where we stayed on our stopover. We booked it with Singapore Airlines as part of their stopover package and thought it was a great hotel.

That hotel doesn't seem available on Singapore airlines anymore :(

Anyone stayed at the Intercontinental? it is £222 for 3 nights if I book direct or £333 if I book through Singapore air.
