BE Accents & Appearances

Re: BE Accents & Appearances
Accents may be similar, but diction and style varies, so I suppose I've never really connected a voice to a location. Pre-conceived ideas: think this would apply to just about everyone - such is the nature of the internet. You can't pigeon-hole individuals but certainly groups and 'scenes' emerge...
..or am I thinking too honestly and orginally again, and will cop it for saying this

I have met. Soapy, Bix and sasbear (plus some others who dont post so much) and I suppose they all werent what I was expecting, especially Bix LOL. But I tried not to have preconceived ideas, I expect I wasnt what they were expecting either, and after losing 4.5 stone I prob look different again.

I'm from West Yorkshire and have a strong Yorkshire accent yet Aussies ask if I'm irish, scottish and the kids in my boys class think I sound like Jamie Oliver, pukka !!!!
