I know, I had to follow my OH all over the country to watch him racing - no way , not doing that in Australia! :eek:

Off to bed now - got to pack in the morning, shippers coming Monday, out to lunch tomorrow, and we haven't even started! :scared:

What type? Myself(Fire or Flags) and the OH(Flags) are marshals at Queensland Raceway, Morgan Park circuits, Indy etc.

It's a bit weird but on the Friday night before I posted this thread I went to fight a fire at Morwell Open Cut Coal Mine. When we got down the mine we were confronted with what was a bit like a coal fire that you find in a house except it was about 20m high and 300-400m long. The heat coming off the thing was huge. Added to that we were wading around in soft black mud and streams of black water because of the huge quantities of water that was being poured onto the fire. There was also tonnes of ash flying around and the oxygen in the air was depleted. This was all happening in the dark where the only light was coming from the fire and the headlights of the trucks. It was like a vision of hell. :eek:

Anyway after I'd had a good kip, I woke up to find that my post count was 666. Weird (in a non-obsessive kind of way :D ).
