Good spot. Better ask the judge when it goes to court. On the basis that burning one holy book incurred a charge of inciting racial hatred, then , burning any(other) religious book would incur an equal charge.

Pussy government.
Wonder if Maggie Thatcher would've let them get away with it?

They burned a flag, not a bible. It was 3 years ago.
The best sentence perhaps is that uttered by the Muslim leader they spoke to
"Unfortunately there will always be some strange lunatics, like in any community, who give others a bad name."

The facts are still the same, no reported arrests!
If I were to burn the Pakistani flag in Karachi for example, what do you think would happen to me???

It doesn't really matter weather they were protesting against Salman Rushdie or the price of a pint of milk. It doesn't matter either how many years ago it was.

The facts clearly are not the same, a flag is not a religious artefact.
You are obviously not stupid, and would have the intellect to divine that the police would have made a judgement about what to do . They arrested 4 drunken twats who put a video up because arresting them at home doesnt cause a riot. Arresting a bloke burning a flag, a q'ran , a bible, a spurs programme, or last weeks copy of radio times, in amongst a mob of 300 people, is only going to result in one thing -a riot. The police dont like riots, it causes a hell of a lot of paperwork , and the TV Crews leave a mess all over the place drinking tea and what not.
Why the hell does it matter - if you guys would bother to research your facts properly instead of following jingoistic nonsense from rubbish newspapers then you'd have a balanced view of the world.
Try googling muslim arrests in UK , wow , there are a lot..... You can enjoy reading that for the rest of the evening .

you'd be stoned to death in a mob , unless you were in the mob protesting about Cricket in which case you'd be lauded as a hero.

The fact that the police didn't do so, has nothing to do with worries about starting a riot (have you ever seen them deal with football crowds?) and everything to do with not wanting to be seen to upset religious sensitivities.
Want something to read yourself? Well try this list.

A flag is a symbol and a very powerful one, of a nation. Burning a nations flag in many countries of the world would see you 'disappear' and at the very least should have seen those Islamic twats nicked and charged with incitement.

While we are on the subject of flags... anybody daft enough to be thinking of going to Delhi better keep their flag well hidden.
