Default 4WD on the Gold Coast

Does anyone know anywhere on the gold coast or surrounding areas where we can go 4wd without having to arrange permits etc,

Black Duck valley was recommended but that has been closed down.

Tracks at Ormeau....if they haven't been closed. Also some in Northern NSW.
