Is it just IT? No idea.

My employer, IT, is going through a huge blood letting as part of its 'transformation program' (AKA bullshit the staff program) and is sacking hundreds as it moves their jobs to India.... at the same time its still bringing in 457's, from within the company for the most part, to address 'skill shortages'. Some of these 457's are replacing people who have been sacked the week before... some skill shortage.

It's a blatant con.

I am now reporting up through India. Its a bloody nightmare. These guys are so one dimensional. I'm waiting for them to sack every client facing Aussie or brit and do it with Indians.
