Cool! I've got a couple:
- Full of whinging Little Englanders who emigrated expecting to find quaint hamlets, semi-detached Wimpy homes with fake coaching lamps by the door and the Cotswolds near Brisbane.
- Too many insufferable plebs are given the opportunity of living here - they should tighten up the immigration laws and encourage people from harder working nations to move here.
Other negative things are bogans and boring burbs if you are unlucky enough to have to live there.

) I was always very jealous of the peeps doing media studies. Until I found out what use their degree was and how likely it wasn't that their Playstation degree would usher them into the comforting world of the BBC.

There are some absolute bollocks degrees out there. When I was at uni (English and Journalism BA (Hons)
) I was always very jealous of the peeps doing media studies. Until I found out what use their degree was and how likely it wasn't that their Playstation degree would usher them into the comforting world of the BBC. Mikey

I want to add :
1. If you say anything negative or notice a problem the aussies cannot handle it and act like someone stole their toys. This being afraid or to lazy to mention problems leads to things looking shit and people thinking the countrys 10 years behind. People say english people moan but at least we get things done, if we see a problem we complain and get it sorted.
2. TV that only reports news going on in the world if it involves an australian
3. Fakeness of a lot of people and often bad attitudes to people from other countrys.

Unfortunately when we all got out into the real world the people doing those degrees mostly ended up working in IT

Funny, when I was at uni (Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (Jt Hons)) we used to disparage those doing donkey degrees like, American Studies, Media Studies, English, Journalism, etc...
Unfortunately when we all got out into the real world the people doing those degrees mostly ended up working in IT

Funnily enough, I started out doing a Computer Science degree despite the fact that my A's were in the arts - it was one of Milk Snatcher's long forgotten plans - push arty people into technology and get geeks that can actually talk to each other. I remember being about six months into the first year, sitting in a lab designing the logic gates on a silicon chip and thinking to myself 'if these are the dorks I'll have to work with when I graduate, then I'm leaving'. So I did ... and switch to my English/Journalism major. When I graduated, I got a job working on a computer magazine ...

Education standards are poorer than in Scotland .People don't do satire.Financially overstretched guys with their Stepford wifes and saccharine kids.The amount of rules are frightening and Australians are generally unquestioning.
I much prefer Scotland and that 's why I'm leaving.

I have met lovely Aussies and the fish and chips are great.

Talking of flags, can I just say that I hate it when people where boxer shorts designed as a flag.
