Hello,

I'm transferring money from Barbados to the UK and had to submit a form for the national bank in barbados to give tax clearance.

This was 6 weeks ago now and I've still not heard anything.

Does anyone know how long it takes for this to be granted please as it seems such an awfully long time.

I'd suggest that you call the bank and not wait any longer.. if you don't you will be forgotten, in a pile.. trust me on this one.

We have finished paying off the mortgage on our house.. Yeah!!!.. and when my husband called and inquired about how to them get it all transferred into our name, do all the final stuff.. it took longer than it really should have to get it done.. final payment made in December.. I think the bank told him last week what the procedure is and how much more we have to pay to finalize everything.. now we shall see how long it actually takes to process it..and get the title, deeds etc...
