Segway Tours
Hey all,
Played tourist today and did the segway tour.... it is definitely worth it! It was a blast, not hard to learn, and the operators were very cool people. Shines, it was up in your neck of the woods. I waved. I would recommend it for when you have visitors or just for fun. :D fox |
Re: Segway Tours
Oh, I just got sent an email about this last week - I had no clue it existed before! Can't wait to go try it out.
Do you know what the minimum age is for kids to have a go by any chance? |
Re: Segway Tours
Sorry, I don't. There were some kids doing it today who looked to be about 10yrs old... though I'm not a good judge of age of kids!

Re: Segway Tours
Might be an adults-only activity for us then, but definitely gonna go over one afternoon when I have chance. Looks like loads of fun!

Re: Segway Tours
They will be one of the featured attractions at this years St. Gabriel's School Fair which takes place on Saturday 10th October from 12noon to 5pm, on the school grounds at Henry's Lane, Collymore Rock, St. Michael (shamless plug.. please don't delete.. hehe).
I'm looking forward to trying them out on that day.. should be a lot of fun.. |
Re: Segway Tours
anyone willing to tell us what the Segway Tour is or is it a secret lol?

Re: Segway Tours
Ah! The segways are those two-wheeled things the cops were on, on the boardwalk (until recently). They work on the principles of balance - you lean forward, and it goes forward; you lean back and it goes backward.
Very fun activity. P.S. this should help http://www.segwaybarbados.com/ |
