Hi rtabenn and welcome...you will probably get a better response if you ask a more specific question ie which location and your budget, the size required and for how long you may fair well to get a short term place and then look around whilst there to find something in a location that suits you as other factors like driving etc need to be considered

Hi thanks for that. We were looking at maybe lodging with people who may have a room spare. We would be travelling on public transport but my partner has friends with cars to take us places. We just want something short-term till we find where we would like to settle. Christchurch is a place we would like to be to start with.

If your on Facebook try joining the group Bajans in London and post your request on there .....people then let their friends know in Bim and reply to you... be aware the messages go into your "others" messages

Hi Tranent,

It is fairly easy to find a place to rent, and it's not too expensive either. I rented a two bedroom apartment in Christ Church for Bds$1000 per month. You can a one bed apartment for about $600 Bds. It was quite nice in a good neighbourhood with friendly neighbours.

Hi Pasty. Sounds great. We just need 1 bedroom. Was it private rental or real estate agent ?
