I hope someone of you can help me:
I´d like to stay for a longer period of time in Barbados (holiday), so I´m searching for a private accommodation.
it should be in the area of st.lawrence gap, if possible a supermarket in the nearer walking distance; a one bedroom apartment would be sufficient, as I´m travelling alone; not a lot of luxury, basic would do it (kitchen, bathroom / with washer, bedroom); at least I´d stay for 3 months, is it possible to rent an apartment for this period, or ist it too short? for my monthly expense I could afford ~500 Us;
can someone please give me a recommendation?I´ll appreciate any help from you!

Getting a place for 3 months woudl be more expensive than a 6 month or 12 month term as there is a premium on short term lease.

When you say a monthly expense of $500US you are talking $100BDS - if you are asking if you could get a basic 1 bed appt for this you might be lucky bbut you are asking for premium location to be near the gap and a supermarket and you are unlikely to get your bills covered in that amount. Bills to be paid would still be water elect gas telephone internet.

I do know of a place but its very basic with no air con and is a basement appt which can get very hot - its in a nice area but up a hill about 10 min walk from supermarket - not sure what the price is but its vacant at present i could give you landlords number to contact and negotiate - it would be something you could maybe start off with whilst you look around
