Incidentally, its a lot simpler here, you just turn up as a tourist, renew your visa here for pennies then after 3 years apply for residency which is the usual paperchase but requires nothing special. No health insurance required.
Foreigners can buy property, theres just a non residents tax of 10%, and by the time you sell you are a resident.
There is no taxation of income earned abroad, and the usual double taxation avoidance treaty.
I chose Grenada really for its financial set up but also because of its population. It is i find a more accepting friendly place [generally fewer prejudices] than some other islands both towards expats and between the nationalities/races on the island.
