Mortgage for Barbados Land/Property
Hi
Does anyone know of any english citizen being able to secure a mortgage for land or property in Barbados from a Bank in England?? Or has any of you (english) been able to secure a mortgage in Barbados (I have an income from England and live between uk and barbados). Just wondering how you go about getting mortgage for a 2nd home abroad. Cheers Serendipidy |

It really comes down to showing the bank that you can service (afford) the loan. This is generally the way it works globally. Banks dont like to lend to properties outwith their jurisdiction, incase they need to repo, and subsequently cant. Hope this helps. |
