Hi there,

Myself and my family moved a few weeks ago to this lovely island. We're renting a car at the moment and looking for a new place to live nearby St. Gabriel's/ St. Winifred's while our stuff is it's way.

However, as hiring a car is so expensive we desperately want to buy one, preferably a Japanese one (Toyota, Kia, etc), from 2010 or later.

Please let me know if you know of anyone interested to ditch his beloved barrel for a good price in the next couple of weeks
I am positive someone in this amazing forum will have some info for us.

Just to understand.. you are looking for a used car to purchase 2010 model or later (meaning 2009/2008 etc...??).. just checking..

and what type of price.

Let me explain that even used cars in Barbados aren't cheap.. 1000.00 might get you something, but it's going to be old and need work.. 10,000.00 might get you a bit newer maybe 2001/2003 or so..

have a look at www.bim.bb they have cars listed there... and see what you can find.

Thank you for the link! Wow! I was not aware of it. It will not only help me with the car, but I will definitely check the other categories.

I meant a Japanese car from 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 or 2013 :-)

I'll call a couple of numbers tomorrow hoping that the cars are not sold yet (old adds)

I am aware that they are much pricier than in London but I would like to have some options before buying a used car from the dealer. It will be great if I can buy it directly from someone who is selling their beloved car like we did 2 months ago...
