I wanna welcome Peanut Punch to the site (damn i love that stuff but sooo fattening) she has come up with a brill suggestion - why dont we have UK meet ups (many of us are from London) as well as Bados ones for those who have connections or just wanna have connections to Bim - specially as sooo many of us are coming and going so often

Would be great to actually get to know what parts of uk people are at who are on this site and if you are a guest and just viewing come on in and participate - we love having new blood and ideas

Thanks Serendipity...I'm from north London - Haringey.
My main links are with St Lucia - but I've been to Bim once (ages ago) and have a very good friend there and a cousin too.
It would be great to meet up so let us know when you're ready - I know you'll have lots to do settling in when you get back.

Me and my husband are in London and would be up for meeting up with some of you guys. We are hoping to move to Barbados in September if we can get everything sorted out so it would be good to have a chat.

Am down in leafy Surrey, when not flitting in and out of Barbados. Also looking to move to paradise when things sorted here and with a lovely fiancee there waiting for me.

Great - how about meeting up Easter Weekend 3rd April - hopefully it'll be a bit warmer by then.

Would be good to know if you want to eat and / or drink.
There's a really nice Caribbean restaurant called Cottons in Islington - the food is quite good and / or there's a bar downstairs. The closest tube stations are Angel and Farringdon.

Serendipity would you be happy to open this up to people from the Caribbean forum too ?

Im not settled yet so cant make plans - more the merrier as far as im concerned Peanut - would be good to hear other stories from the other islands as sometimes we forget Barbados is not the only tropical location in the world!
