Job Hunting
 

Hi I am currently finishing up my Masters in Marketing Management and writing my dissertation about the power of social media. I also have a BA in Hospitality and tourism management.

I am moving back to Barbados in October of this year and I am a Barbadian citizen.

I thought I would get a head start by searching online but I cannot find much. Ive only been able to find a job at Shell and at Banks:thumbdown:

Are there any suggestions on the best way to look for jobs in Barbados while I am still abroad? I don't want to leave it till the last minute because ideally I would like to be working within the 1st month that I move back.

I think it depends on what you are looking to do.. Hospitality??? tourism?? social media?? Marketing?? or all 4 in one place (which might be difficult). try contacting some of the hotels on the island and advise the tops of positions you are looking for... they may not all advertise.. contact some of the marketing and media houses on the island.. (look in barbadosyp.com and see what you can fine.)

thanx for the reply. at the rate im going i would take anything to be honest but preferably social media marketing. i just dont want to leave the job searching to the last minute when i land.
