Jabbawoc, rental property on the west coast
 

We recently vacated this property and thought a little heads up was appropriate. The house itself is quite nice with a great view but the appliances and pipe-work is in poor condition. And after having endured two years of construction next door, the house is now complete but left us with no privacy and peace, especially the huge AC unit outside the master bedroom is quite disturbing.
Also the landlord felt is was necessary to keep the security deposit despite us leaving the house in good condition, so if you rent the house, make sure that you have outstanding utility bills that matches the deposit when you leave.
