Hi All,

I came across this site by mistake a couple of days ago & decided to join- Yippee

I currently planning a long awaited trip to Barbados late September & would rather not do the usual package holiday you know ( flights with accommodation). Found a great deal for a flight, but would now like a place to rent whilst their...
Ideally I would like to stay in either St James, or Christ Church as I know both of these parishes fairly well- oh yes or around the St Lawrence:rofl:

If anyones has a property or knows anyone we can rent from please be in touch

Hi Hotchick, and welcome!

There are loads of places to stay on the south coast, especially in September. Try cariblist.com.

How many rooms do you need? Would you prefer to have a pool onsite? Close to the beach?

The place I live in is close to the beach (3-min walk) and rents short-term as well, so I could pass on that contact information if you're interested. No pool, though, but a great bunch of neighbours! (shameless self-elevation).

That would be just Gr&! Yes please do pass on my details... I will check out the site you mentioned later... I should have stated in my original I do not wish to pay more than "Sandy Lane" LOL:lol: as when looking in the past, some xpats have their rental fees for 5* deluxe prices- which I wouldn't mind paying if it included an on site chef, cleaner, massues, car with driver... you get my drift :)

I think we may need 3 rooms; pool won't be necessary as were beach bunnies:) & yes close to the beach is a must! Sx

Ah, the units in our place are just 1 bedroom.

Try cariblist, though. You'll probably find something good there, without having to pay Sandy Lane prices.

Sandy - try where I stay - Rydal Waters, by Carib Beach Bar in Worthing. Its own by Mr and Mrs Waterman. Its a 2 x 2 bed chattel house - apt upstairs and one one downstairs...upstairs apartment has a great balcony. You couldn't get nearer to the beach if you tried. The Gap is a 5 minute walk.
