Going through the motions
 

We had some visitors on our island yesterday who evacuated :( themselves from some hotel in the south west of Barbados after contracting a bug, apparently caused by sewage in the water. They said theres some major issue at present, which i see from a news website appears to be real.

We have issues sometimes caused by nasty careless boat owners, but not like this, whats going on?

where did you read this.. know the hotel?? what area..

I think ive found the concise info, it seems to have been going on for a while but is there progress? - some of the newspaper info is out of date i suspect - see post 327 here

yes.. as you can see.. I post on their as well.. someone is lives here and sees it pretty much on a daily basis.. this is not a new issue, unfortunately our government has turned a blind eye for far to long.. and now it's come back to bite them..

and I can't say, as a local, that gastro is rampant on the island as I am not aware that it is.. (my facebook feed isn't clogged with Gastro Posts, which is usually the case when something serious is stirring ) and do we know for an absolute doubt that they caught the bug from sewage in the water.. not trying to white wash all of this, but .. we have to be careful what we say and do.. you know.. you don't drink the pipe water in mexico.. ever.. so why visit there if the problem is 1000 times worse.. just wondering out loud.
