Furniture Shopping recommendations
Hi,
We have bought a house in St Philip and need to furnish it when we arrive in a couple of weeks. We have visited Ashley Furniture and Dwellings and know what sort of things they have on offer. We have only found white goods - cooker, fridge and washing machine in Courts. Any recommendations for other shops we have not yet discovered.
Many thanks

You can try PriceSmart (need paid membership), Cost-U-Less (need free membership) in Warrens and St Thomas. Shopsmart - various locations. Massy Stores (used to be called Dacosta Mannings) - various locations - all should have white goods and/or furniture. For furniture you can also look at Gajah Home, Archers Hall Design Centre - Speightstown, Furniture Village, Designer Decor (not sure if this is the same as Furniture Village), Walkers World and there are various specialist places along Spring Garden Highway.

agree with everything said already.. except that Cost-u-less doesn't have a membership requirement, unless you want to get points, and a 5.00 coupon.. anyway..
Courts, Standard, and massy are probably your best bet for lower cost.. having said that.. try them all.. you never can tell what you will find.

That's useful to know about Cost-U-Less - I went there recently but couldn't find my card so left as I didn't think I could shop there without it.

Furniture shopping going well.....except garden furniture. Where can I find outdoor chairs? Not formal table and chairs, more the comfy lounging ones, what I would call sunbeds. Also a large umbrella. We have been directed to Design and Decor and Furniture World. Any other suggestions.
Thanks

Standard are much cheaper than Designer Decor.. Carters in Wildey have some things at a reasonable price, sometimes so does Pricesmart.
