Field Hockey
 

Hi all,

I'm emigrating to the island at the end of the month which I am very excited about! I'm a keen field hockey player and was just wondering if anyone had an information about teams on the island. I'm aware of a yearly banks festival in August I think but that is about it!

I'm new to these forums, but have been doing a LOT of research into emigrating to Barbados asap. Part of my research was based on the hobbies I enjoy and what I can ditch and what I can't live without.

These were Field Hockey and Paintball. As I play league for Belper Hockey Club in Derbyshire, and various Paintball tournaments

I good search on the internet found Paintball is thriving there, Hockey I'm still unsure of. Either way I've provided some links below that I Hope help. If you find out anything about leagues please let me know too.

Hi Will8985,

I'm over here now and have found out that there is a 2 league system which sporting clubs participate in. The hockey season has started over here yet but when it does I've got the contact details of a team. If you do decide to emigrate then let me know and I can pass them on to you. And if you need any other information. Having just gone through it all myself I know you probably have several questions!
