It's really more of a resource..questions and answers, guidance...navigating the culture, way things are done, frustrations, etc. I've also met some cool people on here...I guess that in a way discussions happen after friendships are formed, etc.

I think that some of the other (country) boards on BE are definitely more chatty! Nice to meet you neal... what brings you to Barbados?

I am doing lots of travelling not only Barbados,but scandinavia also i like to travel.:thumbup:

Yes me too...
And been given some sound advise!

I like to hear people are on the move & willing to travel & settle off shore
( which is one of my dream plans) which I will make happen! :D

Some of the topics I've read about have been a real inspiration & glad to know I can always drop a line about an issue & someone is willing to give advise & positive feed back!

I will be in Barbados late September & would love to meet up with a few or all of you- drinks, maybe dinner, Jelly coconut on the beach etc etc

I will definitely post a "meet up blog" closer to the time. And look it's warm & sunny in London today- well I never & in the height of summer too:rofl:

Hi All,

Where about's on the Island are the majority of you based- as I guess somewhere central would be a good idea for drinks maybe dinner, dancing etc etc

Lets have some suggestions please...
