Hello;

I will be moving to Barbados in 2009. I just found out I am pregnant with twins. I am trying to see what we will do for childcare when we arrive in Barbados. Does anyone know what the minimum age requirement is for daycare centers or nurseries in Barbados? Also, does anyone know where I might be able to find a nanny?

It will probably be best for you to find a maid/nanny who can come in each day and look after your twins for you, a lot of people here use that option...

I am sure once you are here you will find someone easily enough!

Hi, i am a fully qualified and experienced british nanny who fell in love with barbados after i went travelling there in 2006. I currently run a nanny agency in England and am in the process of moving to barbados to work as a a creche manager. I would be interested to know how easy it is for parents to find childcare in barbados as i would like to extend my business to provide childcare in barbados as well. Any info would be helpful whether you find it easy or not to find care that fits your needs would be helpful. Thank you
