cost of tourist stay extension stamping advice please?

My 19 year old son is in Barb for 2 months, he returns end June. Has been told by officials at airport that he must get passport re stamped as he is staying over 28 days. He went to the Immigration office neaqrest to Christchurch where he is staying who told him he would have to pay $100Bd, that can't be right can it? Checking barbadosonashoestring website the fee should be a lot less. Could they be trying to charge him for something else on top - like the photos he needs to supply them with maybe??? Also what are photos needed for and where is the cheapest place to buy them please?

Many thanks in advance for your help

This is a quote from the official site

How much does a visa cost?
"The fees vary depending on the type of visa you require. The application fee for a student visa is US$300.00, while the fee for a single entry visitor visa is US$100.00 and a multiple entry visa is US200.00."

So yep sounds about right again its hit and miss how long you get at the airport as in theory if he needed 2 months cant see why he didint get it but hey ho thats how it goes its a lottery.. I have always got my passport photos done in
Bridgetown in the little shop on the bend near the parking place just past the bridge and basically at the rear end of courts..someone else will quote its proper location lol.. if not depends on where he is cos there is also Quay Side
