Can I work if I am a student in Barbados
 

Hiya

My boyfriend lives in Barbados and is Barbadian and I want to move over there to be with him. Its too early days for marriage and I am thinking of coming over to study as I have approached law firms for work and they tell me its hard to get a work permit unless I am married.
Does anyone know if I am able to work a certain number of hours part time if I am studying so I can support myself as I can't imagine me having enough money to take over there to last me 3 years whilst studying?
