British newspapers?
 

Hi everyone,

Great site! Happy to finally be joining in the chatter & hopefully get to know some of you :) I've been dipping in and out of both the site & Barbados for a while, but making a more permanent move over now.

Over the years I've heard whisperings about being able to buy copies of British papers somewhere, possibly Holetown? I'm west coast so that would be handy. Does anyone know about this? Or do you think it's stopped what with this new fangled tinterweb?! This morning was a (refreshingly) wet one and I like nothing better than reading the Sunday papers on a morning like that...and I wouldn't even mind if they were a few days out.

If you been dipping in and out of Barbados for a while... dont you know someone that could help you find these newspapers? They are accessible at hotels all along the coast... from St Lucy to Christ Church !!

There is a place called Newspapers Direct .. it's actually a world wide thing and they do have a distributor in Barbados.. I've listed the address for the place you can contact them directly... They get the newspapers and print them,, pretty much same day, I think.. I have a friend who usually gets a Sunday paper from the UK..

Newspapers Direct is the place to go.. it is run by a friend of mine...the best email address to use is [email protected]
