Default BMI flights stop in April

Just had a lovely email from BMI to say they are stopping all flights here in April. They say the routes aren't profitable enough.
I don't mind Virgin and BA but I prefer to fly back to Manchester when I'm going to the UK.
My flight in May has been cancelled, I hope they give me a equivalent ticket with another airline.
Hopefully none of the other airlines will do the same thing.

Looks like we only have BA and Virgin left. Had a feeling when XL went bust that BMI might cease flying to the Caribbean

I thought Virgin did a flight to Manchester? Has it stopped?

No, that one is still running.
In fact I heard a report on the radio yesterday that the government have been in talks with BA and Virgin to see if they can increase flghts and keep the regular Manchester one going.
