Hi guys. Does anyone know of any banks on the island that would grant me a mortgage to buy a property? I'm a UK citizen, with a UK income, however I'd be living in BGI on a non-national residency visa (hopefully!!!). I saw serendipidy's thread from 2008 and wondered if anyone has any more info. The other option is to use Conti Financial Services in the UK who could provide me with a barbados mortgage but I'm sure the interest rates would be far cheaper using a local bank. Thanks

First Caribbean processed my mortgage application as a UK Citizen with UK Income - only reason it didnt go ahead was only a technical hitch with my company accounts so worth a try with them
