Soon we are going to have a British Government or an American surely wont be getting my vote,Big countries need to help smaller nations not bring all their business and suck out our money like a vampire.

I really don't get how setting up a radio station sucks the money out of Barbados......... You're not being asked to pay to listen to the radio, are you?

And I haven't listened yet, but if it's like the BBC in the UK then it won't be taking any advertising revenue away from Barbadian businesses because the BBC is funded by UK licence payers? Correct me on that if they are taking advertisers.....?

I think overseas stations have to support themselves...

Well, that says the World Service is commercial-free. So again, I'm not sure how it could be taking anything away from Barbados radio stations.
