Hi all, Does anyone know of any shops in Barbados that sells good comfortable sofa beds?(sleeper sofas), or anywhere that can make them on the island.

Still struggling to find a good sofa bed, been round all the expected places, either comfort or lack of colour variety is the stubbling block. Now probably order off island but then its 50-50 chance.

Ikea do some good ones, and some not so good ones... as you said its a risk. They also dont pack small and use wood that is ant food. I have seen completely locally made ones that were actually pretty good in Grenada and Trinidad, but its such a mechanical thing that again care is needed in selecting.

The beds at our condos are all from there and owners and guest love them . On their TV advert this morning they said they custom made sofa beds of all sizes . If you haven't tried them yet, give them a go.

I would imagine there will be a significant price difference between the two , but as long as you get what you want , that’s the main thing . Good luck .
